Sire Tracker Goes into Summer Break

The conclusion of the spring carnival in Melbourne marks then end of opportunity for advancement up the Breednet Sire Prospect Tracker to a large degree and for the time being at least the status quo will pretty much remain as is until after Christmas.

NZB Ready to Run on Next Week

Australian Breeze Up Sales have had mixed results this year with a disaster for Inglis in Melbourne and a moderate result for Magic Millions on the Gold Coast and next week the Kiwis will take their turn with their 2008 Ready to Run Sale (November 18, 19) featuring a solid catalogue of 424 lots.

The New Zealanders have fared by far the best of the Southern Hemisphere auction houses in making this concept work, which is in no small part a reflection of their reputation as horse traders that are more than willing to part with a good horse.
