Adelaide Magic for Caithness

Sean and Cathy Dingwall Caithness Breeding are renowned for sending a quality draft to the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale having sold Group Three winner Dr Doutes there in 2007 and will return this year with a dozen youngsters for themselves and various clients including a lovely filly by leading sire Dehere (USA), the only filly by him in the sale.

This is a part of our ongoing series of articles leading up to the 2009 sales and the focus this week is on the 2009 Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale (March 9, 10 & 12), where we will attempt to highlight five yearlings that ON PAPER at least, appeal as being suitable for a specific goal and this week we’re looking for something that might jump and run well enough to take advantage of whatever Bonus incentive scheme it may be eligible.

Sire Prospects on Show - Newmarket and Guineas

Super Saturday at Flemington will be a pivotal day for any number of stallion prospects trying to improve their ranking and secure a lucrative stud deal for their owners.

For Northern Meteor and Swiss Ace, they already have the Group One score on the board having won the VRC Coolmore Stud Ascot Vale Stakes and MRC Oakleigh Plate respectively this season, but for horses like Fist of Fury, Time Thief, Duporth and Red Element, this is a make or break race.
