Willow Park – The Right Results
Glenn Burrows and Joan Faras of Willow Park Stud have spent the last eight years developing their boutique broodmare farm just north of Scone as a nursery for future champions and their hard work is certainly reaping the right rewards.

The statistics of horses foaled and raised at Willow Park are impressive with 11.75% stakes-winners to runners, 19% Black type to runners, 85% live foals to runners and stakes-winners this season including Samantha Miss, Largo Lad, Road to Rock and Mrs Kipling.

On a comparatively quiet weekend for Sire Prospect Tracker action most interest will rest with two year-old colts Common Interest and Tickets both vying for a start in the Golden Slipper and set to contest the Group Two STC Pago Pago Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday.
A three-quarter brother by Redoute’s Choice to Group One winner Excites and half-brother to Group Two winner Duporth, Tickets looked good beating Manhattan Rain on debut in the Listed AJC Canonbury Stakes and then drew wide and had no luck when fourth to that colt in the Group Three STC Skyline Stakes.
