M.I.A– Send Out the Search Party

When racing concluded at Randwick last Saturday afternoon it marked the end of the Sydney Autumn Carnival for 2009 and from a breeding perspective there was one very intriguing aspect of the carnival and that was the lack of impact made by Danehill’s myriad sire sons and grand-sons, who are now the subject of a search party having been declared M.I.A Missing in Action!

Patinack Farm have invested heavily in bloodstock over the last few years and a part of their sizable portfolio has comprised expensive well-bred colts purchased as potential sire prospects and in Group One AJC Champagne Stakes hero Onemorenomore they have hit the jackpot.

The most expensive yearling sold at the 2008 sales by Red Ransom (USA), Onemorenomore is a blue-blood being from the Group Three winning Last Tycoon (IRE) mare Palia, whose full sister Lady Capel is the dam of another Patinack Group One winner in Casino Prince.
