Strada – The Speed to Succeed
Sons of legendary sire Danehill (USA) make leading sires and it is the ones who showed scintillating speed on the track that have consistently made the most impact in their subsequent stud careers and in Strada, Widden Stud has acquired a horse that fits the mould for success.

The first progeny of Strada made a pleasing debut at the MM National Weanling Sale with five youngsters averaging $27,000 and a top seller of $60,000 putting him in second place among the first season sires by average.

The Recipe to More Winners

It’s been impossible not to notice the recent winning run of juveniles sired by More Than Ready (USA), so we thought it was worth taking a closer look at what is presently a tally of 23 two year-old winners in Australia and New Zealand since August 1.
People often talk of the Danehill x Halo cross as being successful and it obviously is in the case of More Than Ready (USA) with eight of his 23 winners produced from daughters of Danehill (USA) and his sire sons, as well as More Joyous whose grand-dam Joe Denise is by Danehill (USA).
