Leading Australian based thoroughbred sales company Magic Millions is delighted to announce highly regarded auctioneer Clint Donovan is joining the company.
Donovan, one of the region's most respected industry figures, will be joining Magic Millions on an exclusive basis and be based at the company's head office on the Gold Coast.
He will become an intergral member of both the bloodstock and auctioneering teams.
Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox said the company was delighted to welcome Donovan to the new position from early August.
"Clint is a very experienced auctioneer and is held in high regard right around Australasia," Cox reported.
"He brings great integrity and personality to the Magic Millions business."
Donovan said he was excited about returning to the Magic Millions rostrum "where it all began"in his thoroughbred auctioneering career.
"Since its inception in 1986 the business has only headed in one direction and I'm looking forward to working with management in continuing that success," Donovan said.
"I am really looking forward to being back on the rostrum and I'm very excited to be working with Magic Millions vendors and breeders throughout Australasia."
Donovan has spent much of his life auctioneering - from livestock in New South Wales as a teenageer, through to million dollar thoroughbreds in more recent years while contracted to New Zealand Bloodstock.
"I have a wonderful respect for New Zealand and I have a lot of long term personal relationships with people in the industry there and I'm looking forward to that continuing in my new role."
Donovan will be back on the Magic Millions rostrum at the 2014 Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale which will be held from September 30.
