Hidden Dragon the most consistent sire of winners for the season

Breednet - Friday August 22
'Lyndhurst', Warwick and Glenlogan Park, Beaudesert proved again why they are considered the forerunners of Queensland's Thoroughbred Breeding Industry by filling most of the winning places for Champion Stallions of the 2013 to 2014 Queensland racing season which ended on the 31st of July.

Red ElementCongratulations must go to the TEN top QUEENSLAND Sires for the 2013/14 season; Red Element from Glenlogan Park is now Queensland's Champion First Season Sire by winners and prize money won and he is equal Second in Australia for winners with Wicked Style from Oaklands at 8th and Raheeb from Wattle Brae also in the top 20 by winners sired in Australia by First Season Sires.

Real Saga, also on the Glenlogan Park roster is Queensland's Champion 2yo Sire by prize money won by his winners although Hidden Dragon claims the title of Sire of the most 2yr old winners to win, also finishing 7th overall in Australia with Real Saga at 9th. Favelon Red Element and Jet Spur from Glenlogan Park also finished in the top 20 as did All Bar One (deceased) from Oaklands as well, meaning Qld Sires hold 30% of THE Australian Winners Rankings for 2 yr olds in 2013-2014 season.

Hidden Dragon topped our 3 year old winners list for Queensland and finished in the top 20 of the Australian Rankings inAustralia with 32 winners who won 57 races, the only Queenslander .

Queensland General Sire Title winner for winners and prize money is Sequalo, Lyndhurst Stud's grand old stallion, he has regained his title as Queensland's Champion Stallion 'over all' just shading Show A Heart and Hidden Dragon, all of who finished in the top 20 on the Australian rankings.

'Lyndhurst'
Warwick and Glenlogan Park Beaudesert by winners are the most prominent Queensland Studs they make a habit of standing some of the best Sires in Australia and it is not by coincidence that Premiership and Stallion Awards are kind to them as although they bring top Stallions they also have a strict mare culling and up grading programme that ensure fresh and modern female bloodlines are being introduced influencing the performances of progeny of the Sires to the winners list.

With announcements last Monday of the increase in prize money planned to commence in October, that's on top of increases in QTIS prize money, racing across the board is the winner, the increase, a sure thing in bolstering owners and trainers budgets at the coming 2015 Yearling Sales.
