"Since its inception five years ago the Inglis Race Series has gone from strength to strength, as evidenced this year through the subsequent Group 1 deeds of Inglis Race Series event winners Mossfun, Peggy Jean and Cosmic Endeavour," said Mark Webster, Inglis Managing Director.

The series keeps its traditional kick off date with the $250,000 RL Inglis Banner (2YOs 1000m) on Cox Plate Day, this year on 25 October 2014.

The $250,000 RL Inglis Nursery (2YOs 1000m), won last year by subsequent Golden Slipper winner Mossfun, is set to be run on 13 December 2014 at Royal Randwick.

All previous five winners of the Inglis Nursery have gone on to success at Group level in their racing career. The race is proving to be a suitable event to test Autumn hopefuls with Mossfun, Twilight Royale and Chance Bye going on to claim headline 2YO races the Gr.1 ATC Golden Slipper, Gr.2 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes and Gr.2 ATC Sliver Slipper Stakes respectively after winning the Inglis Nursery in December of their respective years.

"The Nursery is a race which has built an enviable reputation in a short amount of time, so we are pleased to announce that from next year (2015) the Inglis Nursery will double in prize money to $500,000 and there will be a $50,000 Vendor Bonus and $50,000 Seller Bonus* offered on top of that. Another great reason to sell your yearlings with Inglis in 2015," said Mark Webster, Inglis Managing Director.

Immediate enhancements to the Inglis Race Series for gradates of 2014 Inglis Yearling Sales include $250,000 3YO Sprints in both Melbourne and Sydney.

A $250,000 Inglis 3YO Sprint, to be run on the same day as the $500,000 Inglis Nursery in December 2015, will be Australia's richest 1100m race for 3YOs and fills the void where there are no 3YO black type sprints in New South Wales between mid-October and mid-February.

The $250,000 Inglis 3YO Dash will be run in Melbourne during the Autumn of 2016 at a major metropolitan track.

The 3YO Inglis Guineas, won this year by Cosmic Endeavour who then headed north to take out the Group 1 Tatt's Tiara, will remain at $400,000.

The $5 million Inglis Race Series program for 2014 yearling sale graduates covering their 2YO, 3YO and 4YO seasons is available for viewing atinglis.com.au/races
