Red Blast is closely related to Scenic Blast, who was also trained by Dan Morton and is by Scenic (IRE), the sire of Universal Prince.
Red Blast is the second stakes-winner for Universal Prince, who at age 17 has not covered a mare since 2012 according to Studbook.
