The son of Captain Rio (GB) took his Randwick record to four wins from as many starts with a dominant win in Saturday's Group II The Shorts (1100m) at Randwick.
Ridden by Corey Brown, Terravista came away to defeat I'm All The Talk (Stratum) by two lengths with Famous Seamus (Elusive City) a fast finishing third.
"This horse is amazing, he's the best horse I've ever had," Pride said.
"He's got an amazing sprint on him. He can sit off a hot speed, he's never been beaten at 1200 or below and it will be a long time before he does I think."
"I love this horse, when he trialled the other day I had goose bumps, it was amazing.
Pride indicated that the Group I Manikato Stakes (1200m) could be the goal for Terravista this spring.
Corey Brown said the lightly races 5yo gelding was untapped.
He's very good, he didn't have a lot of luck, three wide and facing the breeze," Brown said.
"I was never worried about the way he was travelling or anything like that but the turn of foot was pretty incredible actually."
The half-brother to Group 1 winning stablemate Tiger Tees (Dubawi) moves his overall record to 8 wins and 1 second from 11 starts for earnings of $541,005 with his fourth stakes victory.
Terravista the seventh foal of the super broodmare Parfore (Gold Brose) a sister to Nishaani the dam of Captain Rio filly Ill Quello Veloce winner of the Group 1 Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes and named the Champion 2YO in NZ in 2007 – 08.
Another sister to Parfore, Golden Sparkle, is the dam of Group II AvJC Concorde Handicap winner Mosse (O'Reilly).
Along with Terravista and Tiger Tees, Parfore is the dam of two-time Singapore Horse Of The Year and young Hallmark Stud stallion Super Easy (Darci Brahma) and the multiple Listed stakes-winner Our Lukas (Generous).
