Three
year-old grey filly Snow White may never be in the class of her superstar
brother Pierro, but she is a winner after saluting at Wyong on Thursday.
A Darley homebred prepared by John O'Shea, Snow White improved at her second
run back from a spell to score a long head win in the 1200 metre maiden at her
fourth start.
By champion sire Lonhro from the Daylami import Miss Right Note (IRE), Snow
White is the third winner for his dam and is a full sister to Champion 2YO Pierro,
a winner of 11 race and $4.5 million highlighted by Group I victories in the
Golden Slipper, Sires Produce Stakes, Champagne Stakes, Canterbury Stakes and
George Ryder Stakes.
A half-sister to European Group I winner Laverock, who is by Octagonal, Miss
Right Note has a Street Cry (IRE) two year-old filly called Ambience, a
yearling filly by Lonhro and was covered by Lonhro last year.
