A four year-old gelding by Henny Hughes (USA) prepared by Kris Lees, Unique was placed at his first two runs back from a spell before breaking through to win this 1550 metre contest by half a neck.
A $70,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for Prime Thoroughbreds from the Mill Park draft, Unique has two wins and two placings from just 10 starts with prizemoney topping $54,000.
Unique is a half-brother to triple Group I winner and $2.8 million earner Happy Trails and stakes-placed Heart of a Lion being one of four winners from Madame Flurry a winning half-sister to stakes-winner Lake Villa.
Mill Park will offer the current yearling from Madame Flurry, a colt by Bernardini (USA) as Lot 412 at Magic Millions in January.
