Winning trainer Simon Miller also saddled up the third placed Fuld's Best (I Am Invincible) with the Neville Parnham-trained Malibu Style (Magnus) splitting the pair.
"He just oozes class," Miller said of the 3yo son of Statue Of Liberty (USA).
"He's got so much ability, when he figures it out he's going to be an absolute ripper this guy."
Miller indicated the Group III Sir Ernest Lee Steere Classic (1400m) at Ascot in a fortnight would be the immediate goal of Liberty's Gem.
An $80,000 purchase by Aquanita Racing (WA) from the Jorson Farm consignment at the 2013 Inglis Classic Yearling sale, Liberty's Gem is the second foal of the winning Rubiton mare All That Sparkles a half-sister to Listed stakes-winner Golden Pedigree (Gold Brose) and the stakes-placed Jeune's Fantasy (Jeune) and Fraar Side (Fraar) the dan of Group 1 ATC Metropolitan Stakes winner The Verminator (Jeune).
All That Sparkles has a 2yo colt by Hussonet (USA), a yearling colt by Reaan and foaled a Dalakhani filly three weeks ago.
Liberty's Gem becomes the 16th stakes-winner for Eliza Park International's Statue Of Liberty (USA). The son of Storm Cat is currently covering at a fee of $11,000.
