The Cambridge trainer has a programme mapped out for the unbeaten daughter of Iffraaj (GB) now owned by Victoria's Rosemont Stud, with Friday's Group III Wellington Stakes at Otaki the first black type target on his list.
"I know she will definitely end up with the Hawkes stable and I'm hoping we can
get her through this race and then on to the Eight Carat Classic and the Gr.1
Levin Classic at Trentham on January 17," Marsh said."She can have a little break then and go to Australia – that would be ideal. There's still a lot of improvement in her and with a bit more time I think she will eventually get 2000 metres."
A Wellington Stakes victory would provide Marsh with a case of déjà vu after he prepared Lucia Valentina to win last year's edition. She has subsequently won twice at Group One level in Australia for Broadmeadow trainer Kris Lees.
Marsh's stable is blessed with talent in the three-year-old fillies' division and he will be represented by Ruud Awakening's undefeated sister Liten Prinsessa and Thee Auld Floozie in Saturday's Listed Trevor Eagle Memorial at Ellerslie.
"They've both done nothing wrong at all to date and, while it's a tidy field, I can't split them and they're both strong chances," Marsh said.
"I think Liten Prinsessa will get up to a mile okay and Thee Auld Floozie should get a trip later – I've nominated her for the Derby."
Liten Prinsessa followed up her Tauranga maiden win with further success at Hastings in Rating 65 company while Thee Auld Floozie is unbeaten this preparations after consecutive wins at Tauranga. – NZ Racing Desk.
