I
Am Invincible has achieved resounding success in Australia and New Zealand with
his first two crops and posted his very first winner in Singapore on Sunday at
Kranji.
Three year-old gelding Invincible Man scored by nearly three lengths over 1100
metres, having placed at three of his four previous runs for the Leslie Khoo
stable.
"He's light-mouthed and that's why he throws his head up a lot. I also took off
the blinkers today as he can be a bit keen," Leslie Khoo said said.
"I think he can run over turf and more distance should not worry him either.
Nunes is a champion jockey and rated him to perfection in front."
Invincible Man was a $23,000 Inglis Weanling purchase for Michael Wallace
Bloodstock that went on to make $100,000 for Diamond Lodge when re-offered at
the NZB Ready to Run Sale and bought by Leslie Khoo.
He is the third winner for Stravinsky (USA) mare Evil Sisters, a daughter US
stakes-winner Native Risen Star.
I Am Invincible is currently the leading Australian Second Crop sire and has 31
entries for Magic Millions.
