Glenlogan Park's sires shared the spoils somewhat with the six-victory haul including some ultra-impressive triumphs and the unveiling of couple of very, very promising 2YO's.
Real Saga is the current Champion 2YO Sire in Qld and also won that title with his only other crop to race the year before. On Saturday he had two juveniles debut, one at the Coast and one in town, and the impressive victories took him inside the Top 10 juvenile sires on the National table and has him aimed up to try and catch the current leading 2YO sire in Qld – his GP barn-mate Jet Spur!
The Helen Page trained Powerful Saga got the ball rolling when he had plenty go against him over the flying 900m at the Gold Coast but still proved way too classy for his opposition with an exciting victory. He appears a youngster with an enormous amount of upside as not much went right for him in the run but he still managed to meet every challenge and win running away.
Only a few minutes later at Doomben another Real Saga 2YO debuted and, the effortless 4.5 length winning margin and faster time than the colts division left everyone convinced that the filly, Secret Saga, has a wonderful future in front of her.

The Tony Gollan prepared youngster gave nothing else a chance as she bounced to the front and cruised along under a strong hold from Tegan Harrison. As they rounded the bend Tegan only released the brakes a little as the beautiful filly put the issue beyond doubt in the twinkling of an eye.
Tony will decide this week what direction to take with his Real Saga youngster with the options being to put her in the paddock now for a quick freshen and aim at the winter carnival riches, keep her in work and target another QTIS event in a few weeks' time, or head to Sydney for the rich juvenile races during their carnival.
The other two winners on Saturday were Bradbury's Luck's mare Shattering at the Gold Coast and Red Element's very progressive 3YO gelding Denarius in the rich 3YO QTIS race at Doomben.
RED ELEMENT'S impressive 3YO gelding Denarius looks to have a very bright future after registering win number 2 on Saturday.
Bred and trained by Brian Wakefield, Denarius was another to carry the GP brand to victory on Saturday after being raised at Glenlogan Park for his trainer. His victory was full of merit as he planted wide from his poor alley but still powered over his rivals at the finish. It was his second victory from just four career starts and there is plenty to look forward to for his connections.
The Hong Kong winning double for the team of stallions resident at Glenlogan Park was delivered on Sunday afternoon by the current Leading General Sire in Qld, Jet Spur, and by 5 time winning Champion Qld Sire, Show A Heart.
Jet Spur's 3YO gelding, Jetwings, has only had two starts in Hong Kong and has impressively won both. An $85,000 purchase from Glenlogan Park's Magic Millions draft in 2013, Jetwings is rapidly developing a growing reputation in Hong Kong and there looks to be many more victories in store.
The second leg of Glenlogan's double was provided by Show A Heart's very consistent and talented gelding Key Witness. The 4YO took his record to 5 wins and 6 placings from his 15 career starts as he registered back to back victories with complete authority.
All of the Glenlogan sires with winners over the weekend have good representation at the upcoming Magic Millions Sale on March 16 and 17 – with the stud set to present a draft of 43 yearlings.
