Time is fast running out to buy a yearling by Australia's ill-fated current leading first season sire Beneteau, but there is an opportunity at the 2015 Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale on Monday when New South Wales based Fairhill Farm present Lot 62.
A half-sister to three winners, this lovely bay filly is from Empire Bay, who comes from an international Black Type family that features US Group I winner Miss Alleged and brilliant Group II winning juvenile Zebedee, who is now a sire sensation in Europe and due to shuttle to Cornerstone Stud in South Australia later this year.
Fairhill Farm have also bought along a mate for her with Lot 224, a stylish bay filly by Husson (USA) from Stratance certainly not just making up the numbers.
She is the third foal of unraced Stratance, a Stratum daughter of Group I winner Love Dance, whose other daughters have already produced stakes-winners See the World and Rusambo.
Fairhill Farm sold a Magic Albert filly from this mare at Inglis Premier last year for $25,000 and she is pleasing connections at the Nikki Burke stable.
Both yearlings are now available for inspection in Barn 4 Row A.
