Having traded over 800 horses (value in excess of $24 million) since the establishment of Asian Racehorse Sales Pty Ltd in 2006, Dave's record at selecting bloodstock has resulted in hundreds of winners in eight different countries. Highlights include Group 1 winners Elderly Paradise and Master Of Puppets in Macau, Gr 1 winner Mystic Power in Singapore/Malaysia, and multiple stakes winner Go Baby Go and multiple stakes performer Express Win in Hong Kong.
"I've established some wonderful clients in Asia over the last 8 years, as I have in Australia, and will continue to manage these clients' racing interests and purchases," stated Mee.
"Over the last few years I have also been involved with the buying and selling of broodmares, mares off the track and younger trading stock for clients; so the decision to establish Pinhook Bloodstock to concentrate more on the breeding/trading side of the industry has been a natural progression.
"I now live on the Central Coast, NSW so I am conveniently located to the Hunter Valley and Central Coast horse populations' and will be spending more time on the road inspecting horses rather than in the office talking about it."
The mission of Pinhook is to provide a Bloodstock service that will - source good quality horses, with genuine upside for buyers, and minimise costs to sellers.
"That doesn't mean every horse listed will be by Redoute's Choice or I Am Invincible…whilst that would be ideal, the goal is to achieve the best result for all parties whether it be for sellers pinhooking, breeding or racing purposes," said Dave.
