Nicconi Filly Wins Inglis Bonus at Albury

Owners of Nicconi filly Loved Up would today be especially glad she didn't meet her reserve of $50,000 at the 2013 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, when she won the Three-Year-Old Albury Guineas along with the $50,000 Inglis Race Series bonus at her home track.

Loved Up (Nicconi x Love's Here)has won five of her ten career starts for a large group of owners. The filly is now headed for the Country Championships Final on Day 1 of The Championships, Saturday 4 April at Randwick after winning the Wagga Wagga qualifier earlier this month.

Loved Up as a yearlingTrainer Brett Cavanough aimed her for the Guineas knowing it was the perfect race to "top off" the filly ahead of The Country Championships Final.

Loved Up is the fourth consecutive Inglis graduate to win the Albury Guineas, following in the footsteps of Inglis Premier graduate Road Trippin, and fellow Inglis Easter graduates Ryker and Fat Al, the latter of which went on to claim Group 1 victory.

The next feature in the lucrativeInglis Race Serieswill be the second leg of the Inglis Race Series Triple Crown in the Group 1 Inglis ATC Sires' Stakes over 1400m at Randwick on Day 1 of The Championships. The next $50,000 Inglis bonus will be at the 2YO Open Handicap over 1200m at Wagga Wagga on 30 April.
