Plan Your Easter Yearling Inspections

Easter Yearlings have started arriving at Inglis' Newmarket sales complex in Sydney and will be ready for buyer inspections over the coming days with a schedule of arrival times now available.

Arrowfield Stud, Kitchwins Hills, Ruane and Landsdowne Park will be the first ready to parade their quality Inglis Easter drafts for prospective buyers starting on Tuesday morning, 31 March.

By this Wednesday morning 70% of the 2015 Easter yearlings will be available for inspection, while nearly all vendors will be parading their drafts by Thursday morning.

Fenway - Lisa GrimmThe history of many of Australia's past and current day champions is intrinsically tied to the Newmarket sales complex where Inglis have been conducting thoroughbred yearling sales since 1906.

Fenway continued the tremendous record of Inglis graduates in Australia's three-year-old classics last Saturday. The blue-blooded High Chaparral filly became the fifth Inglis Easter graduate in ten years to win the Group 1 ATC Vinery Stud Stakes, joining Mosheen, Faint Perfume, Miss Finland and Serenade Rose.

Yearlings from Faint Perfume (Lot 395) and Miss Finland (Lot 54) are among the 605 lots catalogued for next week's sale, as are yearlings from other Vinery Stud/ Storm Queen Stakes winners Champagne (Lot 329) and Hollow Bullet (Lot 438).

The 2015 Inglis Easter Sale will be held on 7, 8 and 9 April next week, with selling on all three days of the sale beginning at 11:00am.

Inglis Easter is nestled between the two major racing days of The Championships held at Royal Randwick, just around the corner from Newmarket. Day One of The Championships this Saturday 4 April features an action-packed 10 race card, including four Group 1 races and the new $300,000 NSW Country Championships Final.
