Fred
Peisah's Lomar Park Stud has been the source of countless high class winners
over the years and their homebred Choisir filly Misty Waters looks likely to
add her name to the tally following a brilliant win Sandown on Wednesday.
An easy winner on debut at Moonee Valley last month for the Mike Moroney
stable, she repeated the performance again today over 900 metres, leading throughout
for Jake Noonan and dashing away to win by a dominant four lengths.
Misty Waters was bred and retained to race by Lomar Park and is a sister to
brilliant stakes-winning Perth sprinter Kid Choisir.
She is one of five winners from Friendly Seas, who is a grand-daughter of top
producer Sea Holly, the dam of dual Group I winner Razor Sharp, Group II winner
Steel Blade and stakes-winner Sail to Glory.
This is the Social Smile (GB) family that has been nurtured over generations by
Fred Peisah to produce an impressive dynasty of stakes-winners with other
leading lights including Robian Steel, Super Elegant and Regal Cheer.
Lomar Park will offer two yearlings at Inglis Easter, a colt by High Chaparral
(IRE) and a filly by Stratum, both of them from the Social Smile family. Click
