Miss Wilson and her famous half-brother aren't physically comparable, but trainer John Bary is confident she has inherited her share of the family talent.
The Stratum filly is out of the Centaine mare Cierzo, who is also the mother of the Hastings horseman's former stable star Jimmy Choux.
"The two of them are worlds apart – Jimmy was special and was a natural with that highly competitive streak," Bary said
"She's bigger and a lovely animal with a beautiful action, she oozes class."
Miss Wilson is scheduled to make her debut at Arawa Park in Wednesday's Lion Red-Kaspers Sports Bar 2YO off the back of a trial success at Foxton last month, although Bary has yet to commit to a start.
"She'll be on the truck and it will be a good experience to take her away on an overnight trip," he said. "I'll walk the track on race morning and see what it's like. It's a Heavy 10 at the moment.
"She's going to improve massively as a three-year-old, but if you're looking at a race like the Gold Trail Stakes next season it would be nice to get a run or two as a two-year-old."
Bary also has the promising three-year-old The Bandito in the closing event, the C U @ The Rotorua Club 1200.
"He was fourth on debut at Waipukurau and is still learning his trade, but he looks quite progressive," he said.
The Bandito is a brother by Pins to the Australian Group Three winner and Group One performer Stickpin. – NZ Racing Desk.
