Anticipation is building for the inaugural Victorian Owners and Breeders Raceday at Caulfield on Saturday and the 2015 Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale starting on Sunday with Three Bridges Thoroughbreds set to present nine lovely youngsters at Oaklands, three by the farm's foundation sire Stryker.

Stryker has hit the ground running with his first two year-olds which already include stakes performers Miss Loren and She is Stryking as well as metropolitan winners Andrioli (Melbourne) , Labdien (Sydney) and Sonesta (Perth).

Stryker has 10 entries for the sale, three of them to be consigned by Three Bridges Thoroughbreds, with the full draft from the Liston family owned and run farm below.

For those interested in getting involved with a VOBIS horse, this weekend will be a showcase for all the fun and excitement and TBV president James O'Brien believes it has been positioned for maximum effect following the autumn carnivals.

"The VOBIS Gold races at Caulfield are worth a combined $920,000 and have attracted class horses like Trust In A Gust and Fontein Ruby," O'Brien said. "The prizemoney and bonuses are a terrific incentive and the Melbourne Racing Club has got right behind promoting the Owners & Breeders Raceday."
