Diamond winner Reward for Effort was represented by his first winner in South Africa
when two year-old filly Tender Mist saluted at Turffontein on Saturday.
Trained by Ormond Ferraris, Tender Mist powered clear to win by two and a
quarter lengths over 1450 metres at her second start.
Tender Mist was a $37,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Global Bloodstock Logistics
from the Millford Thoroughbreds draft and is the first winner for Diva Dance, a
three-quarter sister to stakes-placed Sharp Hill from the family of European
Group I winners Dumka and Doyoun.
Tender Mist is the sixth first crop winner for Reward for Effort, who stands at
Chatswood Stud in Victoria.
