In Foal to Medaglia D’Oro

Darley's Medaglia D'Oro (USA) has had a big service fee increase in the wake of siring Golden Slipper winner Vancouver and mares in foal to the son of El Prado who stands for $110,000 this year have become a hot commodity.

Medaglia D'OroRheinwood Pastoral will offer one of only three mares covered by Medaglia D'Oro at the 2015 Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale offering Lot 887 as agent for Jacob Park Thoroughbreds in the supplementary section, La Fluorescent.

A half-sister by General Nediym to Group II winner Savvy Nature, La Fluorescent is a grand-daughter of stakes-winner La Lagune from the family of Group I winners Sober Suit and Titanic Jack.

She is offered in foal to Medaglia D'Oro in her second season stud with her first foal, a colt from the first crop of Golden Slipper winner Pierro to be offered on Sunday at the Weanling Sale by Rheinwood as agent as Lot 113.

The Pierro colt is one of six weanlings to be offered by Rheinwood in the Platinum session for weanlings offered with x-rays.

Lot 12 Colt Foxwedge x Ready as Elle, by More Than Read (USA) - First foal of a Melbourne metro winning half-sister to Singapore stakes-winner Emperor Max, who was third in the Lion City Cup Sng Gr 1 at Kranji last Sunday.

Lot 26 Filly Stratum x So Detached, by One Cool Cat (USA) – Third foal of stakes-placed So Detached, from the family of Group I stars Grand Armee, Drum, Dealer Principal, animato and last Saturday's South African Group I winner Wylie Hall.

Lot 40 Colt Excelebration (IRE) x Up State (GB), by Sadler's Wells – From the first crop of champion miler Excelebration and is a half-brother to four winners including Godolphin runner Adirondack, a winner at Rosehill since the catalogue went to print.

Lot 63 Colt Star Witness x Cause to Dream (USA), by Giant's Causeway – From an unraced half-sister to US Group III winner Liam's Dream from the family of champion sire Distorted Humor.

Lot 139 Filly Not a Single Doubt x Notker, by Strategic – Third foal of a half-sister to stakes-winner Dysphonia from the family of stakes-winners Scarf and Jeremiad.

Rheinwood Park will also offer broodmares Longueville Lass, National Gift and She's Best in foal to Zoffany (IRE), Foxwedge and Eurozone.
