From Foal Gallery Favourite to Weanling Sale Favourite

Newgate Farm had the honour of selling the top priced weanling for Golden Slipper winner Pierro at the 2015 Inglis Australian Select Weanling Sale on Sunday with a filly from US stakes-winner Amazing Tale (USA) fetching $200,000.

Pierro filly with Amazing Tale at NewgateThe equal highest priced filly of the sale, she was bred by SF Bloodstock and bought by Yu Long Investments.

She was foaled and raised at Newgate Farm and is pictured here in the paddock last spring.

Her dam Amazing Tale was one of 115 mares covered last year by exciting young shuttle stallion The Factor (USA) in his first season at Newgate.

The Group I winning son of War Front returns this year at a fee of $16,500.
