Blake Shinn was keen to find the front on the daughter of O'Reilly who improved her advantage at every call to romp home by four lengths from Col'N' Lil (Bradbury's Luck) with another 1-1/2 lengths back to Whatalovelyday (Domesday) in third.
Transferred to Gai Waterhouse after winning just a Trentham maiden from six starts in New Zealand, Bohemian Lily was second at Warwick Farm at her first start for her new stable before winning the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet (1200m).
She was beaten by the High Chaparral filly Ballet Suite in the Listed Princess Stakes at Doomben at her most recent start but the defection of that filly on Saturday paved the way for Bohemian Lily's bloodless victory.
The pair are likely to meet up again next Saturday in the $500,000 Group I Queensland Oaks (2200m) at Doomben.
"I knew she would appreciate getting into a proper rhythm because her last race here was a stop-start tempo which didn't suit her," Waterhouse told AAP.
"The penny's really dropped with her since she's been in Queensland and it'll take a very good horse to beat her next week."
Carrying the colours of her breeder Kevin Hickman, the three-year-old daughter of O'Reilly (pictured) sports a pedigree par excellence.
A sister to Group I AJC Australian Derby and VRC Australian Guineas winner Shamrocker and a half-sister to the recent Group 1 Auckland Cup winner Rock Diva (Lucky Unicorn), Bohemian Lily is the seventh foal of the Blues Traveller (IRE) mare Bohemian Blues.
A half-sister to the stakes-winners Fairy Tale and Jureyman, Bohemian Blues has a 2yo filly by O'Reilly. She missed to Waikato Stud's deceased champion in 2012 and was covered by Fastnet Rock in 2013.
