Exciting young Street Cry stallion Globetrotter (USA) has a new home, the dashing chestnut this spring due to serve his first book of mares at High Point Lodge.
Located on 600 acres at Moyhu in Victoria's fertile North-East, High Point Lodge is run by Alex McDonald who has over four decades of experience with thoroughbreds.
And he is thrilled to be standing Globetrotter, a horse he has always had plenty of time for.
"I have walked in a few mares to him over the past few years so I knew just how lovely a horse he is."

last month, Globetrotter has "settled in perfectly" and McDonald's
good opinion of him has only heightened.
"He is such a beautiful horse," he enthused, "and so easy to handle."
And he is doing the job with his runners, from only limited opportunities to date Globetrotter being represented by three smart winners and two promising placegetters from his first eight runners.
Jumping straight to the front first up at Devonport recently, the big chestnut Armarni broke his maiden in determined fashion , holding on gamely as the challenges came out wide.
A horse who showed good ability last time in, the Leon & Dean Wells trained three-year-old is, according to the stable, just now coming to hand.
"He has matured a lot since his first campaign - he was very immature then," Leon Wells said.
"He is a massive boy and fingers crossed he is on the up. He is a very nice horse and he is only going to keep improving."
Also sire of the promising Harlem Star and Giramondo (who at just his second start in Tasmania on the weekend was a very easy winner) as well as the Rosehill placed Cruentus, Globetrotter has another exciting prospect in the shape of Bundy Red.
Finishing off strongly for an eye-catching second at his debut at Bendigo in March, the George Osborne trained chestnut was highly thought of enough to contest the rich Vobis Gold Rush.
Beating all but the highly regarded The Big Dance, Bundy Red really caught the eye and Osborne is looking forward to his return in the spring.
"He is a lovely horse who has done everything we have asked of him."
"He won all of his jump-outs and just kept improving so we went to his first start quietly confident that he would run well, and I think he was a bit stiff."
Such a fan of Bundy Red that he has since purchased another Globetrotter, Osborne noted that his charge has a wonderful temperament."
"He is absolutely amazing, especially considering that he is still a colt," he said.
"You can do anything with him - in fact after cutting his leg on the walker a few months ago he needed a week's attention and he was as good as gold. He lets you sit under him - we didn't even need to tie him up!"
Well aware that breeders are on the look-out for value, Globetrotter's owner Damian White has put into place a number of cost saving measures for broodmare owner.
"We have put together a pretty good package for the breeder on a budget," White said.
"Globetrotter will stand at $5500 and High Point Loge are offering an amazing 70 day mare agistment package for only $1100 and even better all year round deals."
"Meanwhile Wangaratta Equine have come to the party offering a mare reproduction deal at only $655."
White has been thrilled with the start Globetrotter has made with his first runners - "they can all run and trainers love their even natures and their ability to learn quickly."
