Cape
Blanco (IRE) had his first yearlings sell in Australasia earlier this year
following his stint at Cambridge Stud in New Zealand and Galileo's multiple
Group I winning son is reported to have sired his first winner last weekend in
Russia.
Cape Victory was bred in the US by Tada Nobutaka out of Alegendinmyownmind, a
daughter of Cape Cross and Oaks placegetter Midnight Line.
She was sold at last year's Fasig-Tipton July Yearling Sale for $40,000 and subsequently
exported to Russia.
Cape Blanco covered some very good mares at Cambridge and had 44 yearlings sell
here this year across all sales averaging over $90,000 with a top seller of
$450,000. Click here to see his yearlings.
He is now at stud in Japan after starting his career with Coolmore's US base at
Ashford Stud in Kentucky.
