Coolmore
shuttler Zoffany (IRE) has had a productive few days posting two new winners to
bring his tally to six putting him on top of the Leading First Season Sires
List for GB/Ireland.
Saluting in good style have been Waterloo Bridge and Secret Tale, who won
easily at Lingfield on Friday with connections now talking Royal Ascot!
A Group I winning juvenile by Dansili, who has enjoyed quite a bit of success
in Australia with his imported progeny, Zoffany has had six winners and a
further three place-getters from his first 15 runners.
The best of them to date is smart stakes-winner Argentero with stakes-placed
Washington DC not far behind.
Priced at $8,800, Zoffany is the least expensive sire on the Coolmore Australia
roster this year and his early results could not be more encouraging.
Like another of the Coolmore shuttlers Uncle Mo, Zoffany will have his first
Australian runners in the new season.
