Two More Debut Juvenile Invincible Winners

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday June 24
Yarraman Park's red hot sire I Am Invincible posted his 18th and 19th Australian two year-old winners of the season on Wednesday.

Promising youngster Hellbent opened his career with a stylish victory at Canterbury.

Hellbent as a yearlingTrained at Goulburn by Kurt Goldman, Hellbent was sent out favourite following an impressive recent trial win at Warwick Farm and ran accordingly.

He jumped smartly and sat outside the leader in second place before surging to the front for Hugh Bowman on turning for home and found the line well to win the 1100 metre dash by the best part of a length.

A $95,000 Inglis Classic Summer Book purchase from the draft of Dartbrook Downs Thoroughbreds, Hellbent is the second winner for metro winning Volksraad (GB) mare Volkaspray, who comes from the family of triple Group I winning Kiwi mare Viadana.

Also saluting for I Am Invincible was two year-old gelding Itz Invincible, who won on debut at Murray Bridge by three and a half lengths.

With 19 Australian two year-old winners this season, I Am Invincible is second only to Snitzel on the Leading 2YO Sires List by winners.
