Shuttle-sire Dream Ahead was represented by another first-crop winner on Sunday when Nordic Dream scored in France.
The Andre Fabre-trained Nordic Dream (2 c Nyramba by Sinndar) started favourite on the pari-mutual for the Prix Duplex for unraced two-year-old colts and geldings over 1200m at Maisons-Laffitte and edged out Mangusto (Roderic O'Connor) to score.
Bred and raced by Gestut Ammerland, Nordic Dream is a half-brother to North American Grade III winner Nordic Truce, their dam Nyramba a Listed winner in England.
Nordic Dream is the fifth winner in Europe from the first-crop of European champion at two and three, Dream Ahead, who shuttles to Emirates Park Stud in New South Wales.
His first Australian conceived crop sold as yearlings in 2015 and the five-time Group I winner is advertised at $27,500 in 2015.
