All American followed up from an impressive Caulfield winner at the weekend with his most expensive yearling sold becoming his first Hong Kong winner on Sunday.
The Peter Morgan and Craig Widdison-trained Green Card will be set for better races in the Spring following his win in the Ted Rainford 2YO Plate (1100m) at Caulfield.
At Sha Tin on Sunday Tianhuang was one of four winners for trainer John Moore, overcoming a slow start to overpower his rivals in the home straight and win the Tai Mong Tsai Handicap (C4) by 2 1/2-lengths.
Tianhuang defeated older horses and completed the 1200m in 1:08.54.
Tianhuang sold to George Moore Bloodstock for $290,000 from the Arrowfield draft at the 2013 Inglis Australian Easter Sale, the most expensive All American colt to date.
Bred by the Arrowfield, Planette and Belford partnership Tianhuang is out of Miss Victoria (Viscount),a half-sister to Group II winner and sire Domesday (Red Ransom) and is descended from Best In Show, the fourth dam of Redoute's Choice.
Tianhuang is the second winner for his dam who also has a rising two-year-old filly by All American, purchased by Marc Conners for $35,000 at this year's Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale, and a weanling brother to Tianhuang.
Miss Victoria is in foal to Snitzel.
The Hong Kong victory comes on the back of three winners for All American at the weekend and his North American Listed winner Mon Amie.
Group I winner All American is standing at a reduced fee of $10,000 plus GST at Arrowfield in 2015.
