The
famous colours of well-known owners Graham and Linda Huddy were carried to
victory at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday by two year-old I Am Invincible colt
Most Important, who provided a milestone for his trainer Tony Gollan.
The win of Most Important allowed Gollan to equal the record number of Brisbane
metro winners in a season set previously at 78 by Bruce McLachlan in 1987/1988.
Having his second run for Gollan after transferring from Peter and Paul
Snowden, Most Important did best in a tight finish to win the 1200 metre dash
by a nose, his second win from six starts.
Most Important was a $260,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Yarraman Park
draft and is the third winner for Orange Marmalade (NZ), a half-sister by
Stravinsky (USA) to Group III winner Just a Dream from Group III winner
Majestic Angel.
Yarraman Park sold the current yearling from Orange Marmalade, a filly by I Am
Invincible at Magic Millions this year for $210,000.
Orange Marmalade has a weanling colt by I am Invincible and was covered last
year by Hinchinbrook.
