Suppo Available for NZB Winter Mixed

Media Release - Wednesday July 29

Nine supplementary entries have been added to New Zealand Bloodstock's Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale (Friday 31 July).

In addition to the 40 broodmares already catalogued, a further three have been added along with three racehorses, one weanling, one two-year-old and one stallion share. All supplementary entries will be auctioned at the end of the main catalogue.

Among the three broodmare entries is the well-performed Pins filly Dream Run (Lot 76), a dual race winner who finished fourth in this season's Group 3 Lowland Stakes.

The supplementary catalogue features winning racehorses including Lime Street (NZ) (Lot 79), by leading sire Iffraaj, and I'llbeyourplatinum (Lot 81), by Northern Meteor.

Also included in the supplementary catalogue is a weanling filly by Alamosa (Lot 77), a two-year-old filly by Pins (Lot 78), and a stallion share in Alamosa (Lot 82).

Featuring among the broodmare section of NZB's Winter Sale are four stakes performing mares, including Group 2 winner Mistrale (Lot 10), and three mares that have already produced stakes performing progeny, including the dam of this season's Group 1 Oaks winner, Savaria (Lot 27).

There have been a number of updates since the catalogue went to print, including Bettorock (Fastnet Rock), catalogued in the racehorse section at Lot 70, a winner earlier this month. To view all pedigree updates, click here.

The annual Karaka Stallion Parade, held prior to the commencement of NZB's Winter Sale, has attracted eight sires that will be on parade on Friday. The stallions that will be in attendance are Atlante, He's Remarkable, Ferlax, Niagara, Burgundy, El Roca, Proisir and Little Wonder. The list of stallions in parade order with the location they are stabled can be viewed online.

The Karaka Stallion Parade will be captured on film this year, with the footage of each individual stallion available to the studmasters upon request. This new service, provided for free, is a great opportunity to receive some quality footage for studs to use as and when they require.

New Zealand Bloodstock's Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale commences at 12pm on Friday, with the Karaka Stallion Parade commencing prior to selling at 10.30am.

Supplementary catalogues will be available at the Saleday Office and can be viewed online .
