The son of Not A Single Doubt was back on his pedestal in Saturday's Selleys Handicap (1100m) at Rosehill.
Ridden by Blake Shinn for trainer Matthew Dale, Fell Swoop received few favours in the run, being trapped three wide with no cover.
But when Shinn released the brakes, Fell Swoop put the race to bed in a matter of strides.
He came away to defeat Inz'n'out (Zariz) by three lengths with Bold Circle (Bernardini) a long head away in third. (photo Steve Hart).
It takes his overall record to an impressive 5 wins and 1 second from 7 starts for earnings of $133,920.
"He was able to take a drop today and it just shows that he's a quality horse going forward," Dale said.
"He was three and four-wide there no cover for the trip and just idle up on the outside and raced away.
"He'll improve off that again so we'll bring him back here for a benchmark 85 in another couple of weeks and from there we'll see what doors are ajar."
"There's not point jumping too far too soon with a horse like him because he's still working it out."
A half-brother to the 9-time winner Flight Command (General Nediym), Fell Swoop was purchased out of the Dartbrook Downs Thoroughbreds draft by his trainer for $45,000 at the 2013 Inglis Classic Yearling sale.
He is the fourth foal of the winning Fasliyev mare Touched In Flight a daughter of the Group II AJC Silver Shadow Stakes winner Crimson Flight (Akaaber).
Not A Single Doubt ended last season as the leading sire of two-year-old winners, defending the crown he won for the first time in 2013/14.
