Almost every high profile galloper from the Chris Waller stable is down to trial at Rosehill on Tuesday morning but it is an unraced three-year-old filly of his that may steal the limelight.
Waller has a total of 34 horses scheduled to take part in the barrier trials including Group I winners Royal Descent, Kermadec, Press Statement, Preferment, Foreteller, Hawkspur, Grand Marshal, Moriarty, Beaten Up and Boban.
Although much of the focus will be on Waller's accomplished charges, there will be an equal amount of interest in a three-year-old filly making her first public appearance.
Ciarlet, entered for the ninth heat of the morning, is by Northern Meteor out of Zouzou making her a sister to Waller's former champion colt Zoustar.
The filly will sport the Qatar Bloodstock silks, the same set of colours Zoustar wore at his final start in the 2014 Group I Canterbury Stakes (1300m) after Sheikh Fahad Al Thani purchased an interest in the colt back in January of last year.
Zoustar commenced stallion duties 12 months ago at Widden Stud where he served 185 mares.
