Whittington Service to Sell for Charity

Currently listed on the current sale for bloodstockauction,com is a nomination to former brilliant sprinter Whittington with half the proceeds from the sale being donated to the Cancer Council.

Whittington as a yearlingThis Nomination has been put up by one of the owners who wishes not to be named, but was quoted when asked by Michael Grieve, who stands Whittington at his Grandview Stud in Queensland.

''I have one less mare than my allocation of nominations and after some thoughts on what to do with the nomination I thought donating half of the auction proceeds to the cancer council would be a good gesture.

"Everyone has been affected in some way by cancer through friends or family, Cancer Council Australia are a great organization and I hope this small gesture helps in some way."

Signature Horse transport will also generously give a 50% DISCOUNT for transport from anywhere in Australia to the owner for this mare to visit to Whittington in 2015.
