A star boarder at boutique Hunter Valley broodmare farm Murrulla Stud, owned and run by Tim and Celie Nolan, Streama gave birth to this lovely bay colt by Boban's sire Bernardini (USA).
A stable star for the late Guy Walter, Streama was bred and raced by the late Geoffrey Coghlan and his family who enjoyed four great seasons on the track with the talented daughter of Stratum.
She won stakes races at two, three, four and five, retiring with 10 wins and 13 placings from 34 starts with prizemoney topping $2.6 million.
She claimed Group I wins in the Flight Stakes, Australian Oaks, George Main Stakes and an emotional Doomben Cup victory last year, which was her swansong.
Booked to visit Golden Slipper winner Pierro, Streama is pictured with some of her owners Max, Pam and Genelle Coghlan.
Another high profile lady in waiting at Murrulla is Brazen Beau's dam Sansadee, who is due to foal again to his sire I Am Invincible.
Brazen Beau was prepared and consigned for sale by Murrulla Stud on behalf of his breeder Bernie Howlett to the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale where he was bought by Ontrack Thoroughbreds for $70,000 and the rest, as they say, is history!
Brazen Beau went on to score Group I wins in the VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes and Newmarket Handicap as well as that brave second in the Group I Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Standing at Darley Victoria this spring at a fee of $44,000, Brazen Beau is hot property and his sibling born this spring will be another star in the making!
