Fourth on debut at Warwick Farm last month, the Peter and Paul Snowden trained Ravi improved at her second outing to surge home and win the 1300 metre maiden by a length from a bevy of blue-blooded fillies.
"She's stakes class all over," said Peter Snowden.
"She just needs the time to mature."
Retained to race after passing in shy of her $200,000 reserve at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, Ravi is a sister to English stakes-winner Elzaam, a Northern Hemisphere time conceived son of Redoute's Choice.
She is the sixth winner from six foals to race from good producer Mambo in Freeport (USA), a half-sister by Kingmambo to Group I winner Point Ashley and Group II winner Raw Gold.
Mambo in Freeport has a yearling filly by All Too Hard and was covered by him again last spring.
