A
full sister to multiple Group I winner and promising young sire All Too Hard
and half-sister to undefeated world champion Black Caviar, two year-old filly
Brigite stepped out at the Caulfield jump- outs on Tuesday morning.
Retained to race by Gilgai Farm, the breeders of Black Caviar, the Casino
Prince filly is in the stable of Peter Moody, who trained Black Caviar to global
fame and fortune.
She went around for a look is about all that could be said, jumping well from
the gates before allowing three others to cruise past her and from that point she just holding her ground in front of two more.
These jump outs are not official and run over just 700 metres, so are nothing
more than education. You can watch it here.
Brigite was among the first declarations released earlier today for the Group I
MRC Blue Diamond Stakes next February, so must be pleasing connections.
Her full brother All Too Hard won his first three starts in succession at two
starting with a debut win in the Listed VRC Talindert Stakes on February 18, so
don't be surprised to see Brigite making an appearance sometime soon.
