Champion
sire Fastnet Rock gave us a One to Watch on Thursday at Wyong when this talented three
year-old filly opened her career with an easy victory.
Prepared at Gosford by Angela Davies, Lindy Lou was easy in the market but
always had the race in her keeping, travelling up in second place for Samantha
Clenton before kicking clear to win by more than a length.
A $180,000 Magic Millions purchase for Premier Park Thoroughbreds from the
Emirates Park draft, Lindy Lou is a half-sister to stakes-winner Cent Per Cent
and stakes-placed Minnie Mah being the sixth winner from good producing
Snippets mare Minnie Me.
Lindy Lous is the 16th winner bred on the Fastnet Rock x Snippets
cross which has been very successful.
It runs at 76% winners to runners and has produced stakes-winners Wanted, Scandiva,
Jolie Bay and Hinchinbrook.
