Australian Stakes-Winner in South Africa

Tara Madgwick - Sunday November 29

The Group III Gauteng Racing Association Handicap over the marathon 3200 metres at Turffontein on Saturday went the way of Australian bred five year-old gelding Supertube.

The Sean Tarry trained son of Where's That Tiger (USA) won by two and a quarter lengths, his fourth win from 19 starts.

Retained to race by his breeders, Supertube is the second stakes-winner for his sire who has also found his way to South aFrica after five seasons at stud in Australia.

He is from Ultimate Inca, a metropolitan winning Fusaichi Pegasus (USA) mare from the family of Group I Auckland Cup winner Royal Tiara.
