Brilliant Debut Winner for Hinchinbrook

The second crop for Hinchinbrook have been quick to make an impression, the champion First Australian Season Sire of 2014/2015 featuring at Morphettville on Saturday with a runaway debut two year-old winner in Samara Dancer.

Samara Dancer as a yearlingPrepared by Phillip Stokes, Samara Dancer raced up on the pace and bolted away to win by three lengths over 1050 metres in an eye-catching debut.

A $130,000 NZB Premier purchase for her trainer from the Phoenix Park draft, Samara Dancer is a half-sister to Group III MRC Caulfield Guineas Prelude winner Éclair Big Bang, who was also trained by Phillip Stokes.

She is the third winner from Ennerdale (GB), an unraced Singspiel daughter of Group II winner Whitehaven.

Samara Dancer is the third two year-old winner for Hinchinbrook in Australia this season.
