Drawn awkwardly in 12, she settled at the back of the field for Ryan Maloney and charged late to be third behind Samara Dancer and spring stakes-winner Concealer.
"She got back and hit the line well," said Maloney.
"She's tough and hopefully she draws a gate in the Diamond."
Miss Nymeria is trained by Robbie Griffiths and was a modest $20,000 Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling purchase for her trainer and Peter Ford from the Three Bridges Thoroughbreds draft.
Miss Nymeria is the first foal of Typhoon Tilly, a half-sister by Ferocity to dual Group I winning sprinter Typhoon Zed.
Typhoon Tilly has another yearling filly by Stryker and produced a colt by Magic Millions winner Unencumbered last spring.
Stryker has eight entries for the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, click here to see them.
