The
hype surrounding the first runners sired by world champion racehorse Frankel took
a step back into the realms of reality overnight when his second runner Majoris
returned unplaced at Haydock.
The Hugo Palmer trained two year-old colt finished sixth to Dream Ahead colt
Dream of Dreams, beaten six and a half lengths in a field of 14 over six
furlongs.
Racing Post reported that he was slowly away and took a few furlongs to work
out what was required, but would improve greatly from the outing.
Frankel's first runner Cunco was an easy winner at Newbury earlier this month.
Frankel has a small number of Southern Hemisphere time bred offspring that will
race in Australia next season.
