Host Winners Please Willow Grove

Now standing at Willow Grove Stud in South Australia, Host (Chi) had a great day at Flemington last Saturday with a winning double courtesy of Mighty Like and Name the Day.

HostMighty Like, a new stakes-winner for his sire Host last preparation, won the Bruce Gadsden Hcp over 1200m first up in grand style.

He is now the winner of 10 races and $393,000 from only 32 starts.

 

Name The Day won the KA Morrison Hcp over 2000m after two nice placings over a mile. He has now won four races and $97,820 from only 14 starts.

Both horses look likely to do much more in the near future.

 

Host now has four stakes-winners, 79 winners and over $6.5 million prizemoney earnings, with a winners to runners ratio of about 65%.

 

Host stands at Willow Grove Stud at a Service Fee of $4,400.
