Hawke's
Bay Racing have an amazing opportunity for you to experience the thrill of
owning a potential Group One winner for a day.
Part-Owner of Stolen Dance, Gerald Shand, has kindly donated 5% of the mare for
the Gr.1 Makfi Challenge Stakes to be auctioned the night before the first
Group One of the season.
5% of any winnings in the Makfi (net of Trainer/Jockey percentages) will be
paid to the successful bidder from Shand's portion of the stake.
Stolen Dance has been placed on multiple occasions at Group One level and
currently sits as equal second favourite for the Makfi behind Valley Girl.
All proceeds from the auction held at the Hawke's Bay/Poverty Bay Racing and
Breeding Awards will go to the Hawke's Bay Cancer Society.
