A pair of Lindsay Park Racing sprinters stood out with jumpout wins at Flemington on Thursday.
Lindsay Park Racing-trained Sheidel led most of the way to win heat five in 48.98 seconds by three-quarters of a length over stablemate Metaphorical .
Sheidel has not raced since finishing seventh in the Group I The Goodwood over 1200m at Morphettville on May 21, the same day Metaphorical last ran when runner-up in the Centaurea Stakes.
Faatinah won heat one in 48.88 seconds, coming through late under Michael Walker to defeat the Lee and Anthony Freedman-trained Battle Cry by a neck.
Faatinah has not raced since finishing fifth in the Group I The Goodwood at Morphettville in May.
Lindsay Park Racing also won heat six with Streets Of Dubai in 49.70 seconds, edging German Group II-winning import Shimrano with Group I-winner Our Ivanhowe making late headway in fourth.
A three-year-old son of Reward For Effort, Streets Of Dubai has raced once when unplaced on the Pakenham synthetic course in May.
Shimrano has not raced finishing unplaced in the Group III Prix de Barbeville over 3000m last April but showed surprising speed in blinkers.
Heat two was the fastest of the morning with Marcado , Miss Vesper and Durendal crossing the line together in 48.10 seconds.
The Steve Richards-trained Marcado is now a five-year-old and has not raced since finishing second in the 2014 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes due to tendon injuries.
Miss Vesper is an unraced three-year-old daughter of Denman trained by Tom Hughes with the Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra-trained Durendal having not raced since finishing fourth in the Listed Straight Six at Flemington in May.
Ellerton and Zahra won heat three with Roll The Ignition in 49.05 seconds. The five-year-old defeated Keen Array by a neck with Nicoscene one length away third and last season's New Zealand Derby winner Rangipo chasing home close behind without any pressure.
The Nigel Blackiston-trained Exclusive Lass led clearly through the last half of heat seven to defeat the John O'Shea-trained pair of Artesian and Exclamation by 1 1/2-lengths in 48.75 seconds. The five-year-old daughter of Nicconi has not raced since finishing unplaced over 1300m at Sandown in June.
Entirely Platinum was untroubled to win heat four in 49.60 seconds with Sacred Elixir ridden along late to finish fifth.
Thursday's jumpouts were on the outside of the course proper, starting from the 2000m.
