Biggest and Best from Edinburgh Park

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 4
When you can produce sale-toppers and stakes-winners, your yearling draft will always be a must inspect and Edinburgh Park have upped the ante this year in bringing their biggest and best ever draft to Magic Millions.

Ian Smith's boutique breeding operation Edinburgh Park always bring a draft guaranteed to please, but 2017 is a vintage crop.

Miss WonderlandA farm that has produced a world champion in Silent Witness, not to mention the likes of Bull Point, Sister Madly, Dances on Waves, Eximius and current flagbearers Amovatio and Golden Spin, Edinburgh Park is a brand to be respected.

New stars are emerging all the time from Edinburgh Park including current season two year-olds Spoils, stakes-placed at her only start in the spring and Serena Bay, who won her first two starts for the Waterhouse/ Bott stable before finishing fourth in the $500,000 Inglis Nursery.

Lightly raced three year-old Snitzel filly Miss Wonderland is the latest star on the rise for Edinburgh Park with two wins and two placings including a Group III third at Flemington during the spring carnival.

A $200,000 MM purchase for Wylie Dalziel/ Moody Racing in 2015, the Ciaron Maher trained Miss Wonderland was a fine last start second at Canterbury on New Year's Eve and is primed for Magic Millions race day next week where she is entered in both the $2million 3YO Guineas and $1million Fillies and Mares Plate.
